We are Karmen and Gregor, a couple from Slovenia - a beautiful, green country in the middle of Europe. We have a common profile, because we use CS together (as hosts and as guests).

We are both simple and easygoing, prefer nature instead of cities, love to walk with our dog, start a day with a fresh juice, take short trips and longer journeys, listen to people's adventures and share ours:)

Gregor loves outdoor sport activities, read a good book, drink a glass of wine, ...
The symphony of rock and classic music always make a strong impact on us.

Couchsurfing is not a free bed, it's an exchange. An exchange of experiences, positive energy, good behaviour, cultural identities, and also time. We host only when two main things are combined: we have time and we have on the other side a person, who send us a good, authentic request.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

We started to use Couchsurfing few years ago, during a longer journey we took around Asia, New Zealand, etc. Meeting and spending time with locals was one of the highlight of that experience. We meet great people, try local restaurants, discover places from the non-tourist perspective,... and that is what CS is about.

CS is much more than a free bed and if you decide to send us a request, please read our profile first and don't even bother to send us a copy paste request. Take your time; reading people's profiles before asking them to sleep at their home, will make your journey a better one!
