About Me

Usually i am quite easy to get along with. I can be shy and awkward at times, but if I hit it off with a person I can open up very quickly.
I like pretty, smart and funny people. If you are just one of those things (except the first one) that is fine too.

I work during the week (i am in auditing and yes i studied economics and live on the dark side). Sometimes I work a lot (high season is from Dezember to April, I work around 50 to 60hours a week in this time). I can host you anyways, but I won't have a lot of time to show you around. I will do my best to guide you from a distance!

IMPORTANT FOR CS NEWBIES: Since I know how many people you have to write and how bad the Internet connection can be while travelling i don't think every request has to be super personal, IF you have a lot of great references or an especially intresting backround. It won't hurt either ;). If you never hosted, please let me know why and also tell me why we will hit it off.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love having a full flat and I enjoy hosting a lot, especially when I have time to show you around. I started to host in 2012 and I have hosted quite a bit since. I never had a bad experience hosting and a lot of really great once.
I also have been hosted a couple of times and I found great friends travelling Asia for six month in 2015. In summer 2013 I did a Balkan trip for 1 month and found 3 great hosts.

I CAN NOT HOST AGAIN BEFORE 25.09.2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In short: painting, hiking, crafting in any kind of way, travelling, sewing, theater, literature, american tv, art, improoving my russian and EATING

I am a huge boardgames nut, so if you are up for a gaming night, you will have the right folks around you.
Also most of the time I prefer to have beer in a cosy bar to going clubbing. Every wendsday it's pub quiz night at my favourite bar and you are welcome to join us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I lived in Istanbul with my boyfriend for a few months, we raised two baby ducks in our tiny flat. We had the best roomate back then. I called her from the market and I told her "Gözde, we've done something stupid, we just rescued two baby ducks. If you want we can give them back." All she answered was "This could be fun."
If you are anything like her, we will get along great!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am getting quite some practice in teaching German through my volunteering. I can offer some classes if you are intrested.

Also I thaught myself to sew! So if you need smth repared after moths of travelling, I might be willing to do that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Do it, it is even a little more awesome than beeing hosted. Contributing, not only taking, feels better after all.
