I was born and I live in Kosice, Slovakia. For me, travelling is mostly about meeting the people and getting lost in towns, small villages, forests. Either alone or with good friends, spend the afternoon, night or a week wandering through the country, sleeping under the stars.

I play bass guitar. I always try to keep myself involved in some musical activity, ideally an active band with gigs and songwriting. I like to jam as well, no matter what the occasion is. I am not fixed to any specific genre, although i can say that rock area is definitely my main focus.

I am a programmer, mostly interested in computer games and related technology, including rendering and special effects. I am not a hardcore gamer though. My name is Bolek, by the way.
Technology and physics fascinated me since I was a child. While not being a scientist, I always enjoy reading popular or semi-hard science articles about various topics.

I consider myself an honest person, often saying what I think needs to be said even if it might be unpleasant to hear. I usually look at ideas, conflicts and opinions from both - or more sides, and I am always open to new ideas and angles of view. In other words, nothing is black and white to me.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The biggest reason why I hitchhike is that it's a great way how to meet local folk and find out something about how people live and perceive their life and culture in other parts of the world. Meeting local people while being able to crash somewhere for the night, doing the same for other travellers, these are reasons why I decided to join Couchsurfing.
