ABOUT ME

I'm very talkative, open-minded person, enjoy meeting new people and spending time with them. I really like getting to know new cultures and traditions, not only by visiting other places but by talking with people from different countries or other places in my country. I also was a volunteer rescuer for 3 years, and love this kind of activity. Now I'm trying to know better place I live in and I'm on good way :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new in Berlin, so not the best guide, but i'll meet you with pleasure :) I'm also trying to participate cs events as often as possible - it's pleasure to meet so many nice and interesting people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted few times, beeing hosted more than that :) On CS i met many amazing people, hope to meet even more of them!

Interests

I've got lot of ordinary interests such as reading, watching movies, cycling and more, but also have some not usual ones :) One of them is ham radio, my first contact with that was in rescuer group, and since this time i'm amazed that people are still using radios to communicate, when they have mobile phones and inernet. My other hobby is geocaching, it really helps me to get to know city I live right now or cities I'm visiting :) It's also great way to meet new, interesting people, and spend nice time with them. And another thing i really love, is sending and receiving postcards, i'm using postcrossing website and sending them to my friends :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reportage books, like one by polish traveller Ryszard Kapuscinski; i like also books by G. Orwell and S. King. And, from something 'not-so-serious' - i love Harry Potter books! Since i was a little kid, it was a little bit of magic in my life :)
If it's about music - i don't have one favourite band or genre, i'm listening various music, from jazz to electronic music, depends on my mood.
From movies i like thrillers, or abstract horrors and comedies :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring abandoned carbon mine in Katowice - amazing thing, but so scary!
I spent 4 days with my friend in rainy forest, on bikes... and still have one of best memories ever from this trip :)
Right now i'm during longer international program, it was quite spontaneus decision, but so far i'm glad i did it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could tell you a little bit about ham radio or geocaching;
I can try to cook something with you;
I can show you postcrossing - really amazing thing!
I'm able to show you munzee game, quite interesting even if not as common as geocaching;
And talk, talk, talk a lot, about everything :)
