Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I host travelers, spend some time with them and try to show a bit of what a consider the best in Rio. Hope someday people do the same for me =) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Ive only hosted some surfers so far!
Music, Movies, and Books
I like Samba and Brazilian music, Jazz, Classic Rock and Indie Rock. Some stuff I like: The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Jimmy Hendrix, The Strokes, Os Mutantes, Novos Baianos, Chico Buarque, Vinicius de Moraes, Billie Holiday... My favorite book ever is Crime and Punishment. Im fond of Russian literature. Love Latin Americans writers as Pablo Neruda, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and specially Eduardo Galeano. Some of my favorite Movies: Il Postino, Machuca, Black Swan, Dersu Uzala, Melancholia, Belle de Jour, Into the Wild, La faute a Fidel, Psycho, Infancia Clandestina, The Bridges of Madison County... and so many others!
My Interests
I like cultural exchanges, going to different places, listening to good music and trying food from all around the world (specially when Im having a good conversation). I enjoy different kind of activities. Love to walk around a city and explore it on foot, I like to read books from the countries I visit and go deep inside its culture. And of course, love to go out at night, dance and have fun! Im really curious about how people live and experience life in different cultures, and something like that is only possible when we go inside their houses and hearts. Thats what made me interested on Couchsurfing!
