PHILOSOPHY

Still working on that one ... I do know that I want to visit a lot of places though to try and help me figuring things out in this department!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by making my couch available to weary travellers. But you can also stay if you're not weary =)
Apart from that, I mostly participate by surfing other people's couches!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great time surfing couches in Japan, the US and France. I always met nice, interesting and friendly people who opened my mind to new thoughts and ways of living and who give me insight into their countries.

Music: Metal, Hardrock, Rock, Blues, Reggae and Classical music; my favorite bands include Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Guns 'n' Roses, Opeth, Iron Maiden and (early) Metallica.
Books: Philosophy, History, Mythology and novels.
Movies: Austin Powers, Spinal Tap, O brother where art thou, everything Monty Python-esque etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

* Sailing a 26-meter-long ship
* Hugging a big redwood tree
* Night-time skiing in Utah
* My first search & rescue mission, doing night ops in a swampy area in First Landing State Park
* Swimming with turtles, sharks and rays while snorkeling in the US Virgin Islands
* Sunset as Uluru

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach a couple of things about guitar playing - but then again, I can also still learn a lot about that. I share my couch and my thoughts, if you're interested in the latter =)
