About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life with no regrets.
ABOUT ME
I am a scientist but my collegues seem to view me as a "creative type". I am generally an optimist who makes lemonade of lemons regularly. I have been happily married for 17 years. I'm extremely independant and opinionated but I don't think everyone should have the same opinions.
PHILOSOPHY
I just want to have no regrets when the day is done.

Interests
I love meeting people and experiencing cultures that are very different from my own. I love music, art, dancing, reading, new foods, good beer, crafts, caving, kayaking, hiking, pets, and learning anything new. I love working in an academic environment because it is the most cultural diversity that can be obtained in Lexington, KY and everyone is expected to voice their opinions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was hosted for dinner and some good caving by ethnic minorities in southern China. They treated me to drinks from their "corn liquor still", a fattened pig, and games with their delightful children. I've never felt so endowed with riches.
