I'm Kartik - a medical student at Cornell. I'm in my last year and when I finish I plan to go into Pathology. I was born in India and then I moved to Michigan when I was a teenager. I did my Ph.D in Cancer Biology at Stanford before I switched careers into medicine.

I love being in New York and I love to explore, travel, and see new places. When I'm not busy studying, I'm biking, baking, cooking, going to the gym, and listening to music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that this is a wonderful way to explore new places and cultures and to learn from those who are more familiar with a place than I am. It enriches the experience.
