ABOUT ME

I am a theatre artist interested in building and being a part of creative communities. I love getting to know new people, and learn about everyone's different life experiences. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I am a loyal friend and I love making new connections.

PHILOSOPHY

"Love Love Love is gonna lead you by the hand" -the Mountain Goats. I am following my passion in life. I feel extremely privileged to be able to do this. I am figuring out how I can support myself as an artist in this world. I create art that brings community together to examine what is happening here and now and how we can work together to overcome injustice. I think that the world is growing and changing and we must remain positive and come together to create lasting positive change and healthy community. We each have enough energy inside of us to power a small city, out potential is limitless. Life is what you make it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had all very positive couchsurfing experiences. I have both surfed and hosted. I enjoy making new connections, seeing new places, and showing my city to others!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed so far in New York, Portland Oregon, Ashland Oregon, New York, Vermont, Paris, and Arezzo Italy. They have all been wonderful experiences!! I've loved getting to know all my hosts and it's been beautiful to experience such generosity! I am so grateful that couchsurfing exists! I love spending time with my hosts, but I am also ok if the host is busy and I need to be more independent. One of my favorite couchsurfing experiences was staying in Paris. I loved my host and we went on lots of fun adventures. I stayed with her twice, once before I went to Normandie, and once after. My visits were five weeks apart. When I was there the first time I helped her transplant her young Ficus plant at the full moon (at a time and date that a friend had told her was best to do it). When I came back for my second visit it had grown and blossomed. it was a beautiful experience and once that I think demonstrates the magic of couchsurfing! We can work together to create beauty in the world.

I am part of the LGBT Community, I am generally good with kids and have experience as a babysitter, theatre teacher, camp couselor. I am an actress and a theatre maker and I'd be happy to share knowledge about the world of theatre. I dance. I would like to learn more about other parts of the world. I Would like to see new cities, and speak in French. I would like to exchange stories and viewpoints.
