ABOUT ME

I'm recently finished up my undergrad, but have so much more I want to learn. I like to learn through new and different experiences, which is one reason my roommate and I have chosen to participate in couchsurfing.
I truly love where I live, but definitely want to venture out and try out new places. I love Tennessee because of its direct access to the mountains, I love hiking/camping. I've lived in Tennessee essentially my entire life, but plan on moving to either San Francisco or a few places in Europe a little over a year from now. San Fran has proved to become my favorite place in the country, thus far, because you're within driving distance from the mountains, not to mention you get the big city atmosphere and ocean all wrapped in one fantastic city.
Music is a rather large part of my life. I played piano for 12 years... something I kick myself for all of the time for quitting. I plan on picking it back up sometime in the near future, whenever I can get a hold of a keyboard. I also thrive on seeing any good live shows that I can.
One of my aspirations in life is to move to Cali and work as an event planner for music festivals. I originally wanted to be a planner for corporate events and the like, but considering how much I love music, after a talk with my best friend's mom last year, I realized how completely ideal this would be for me.
I also like to read, whenever I get the chance. A couple of my favorite authors currently are Palahniuk and Vonnegut.
If you courchsurf with me, you'll get to meet my roommate, Chelsey, who just so happens to be one of my absolute best friends. She is an incredible and interesting human being who simply loves people. She keeps me balanced and I don't know what I'd do without her!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life on a day to day basis and encourage to present myself with a positive and open perspective on all matters. I never hesitate to act on curiosity and try new things because I never want to look back and be upset that I failed to broaden my horizons and learn something new.
