I'm Karzan Maaroof, 27 years old from Kurdistan Region/ Iraq. Currently living and studying in Orléans, France.
I'm doing a masters in languages and international management.

I love traveling more than anything, but as I can't travel often, I also like to host or meet travelers because that's for me the best alternative.

I am open to different cultures, personalities and ideas. I like to listen to people telling me about their cultures and I tell them about my culture.

Couchsurfing is a good way to meet new people. and it makes travelling much easier than it is. You can't learn about a country's culture and daily life in a hotel the way you learn in a house, especially when the person is nice and open minded !

兴趣

When I'm free, I watch a movie or read a book. If not, I go out for a walk or meet friends. I also like to play video games sometimes.

Since I can't travel much, I do a lot of hiking, camping and picnics.

I love classic music (slow music generally) but I listen to every kind of music.

I love movies. My best ones: Mr. Nobody, Lord of the rings, Shawshank Redemption, Dead poets society, Pursuit of happiness٫ 12th fail...etc.

I'm in true love with books! One book that affected my life and personality a lot is The little prince.

I spent one night in Paris on the streets without sleeping, because i hadn't found a host or a cheap hotel room, but it was really amazing !
