I am a happy and cheerful person who enjoys meeting new people, seeing new places and discovering more about other cultures, traditions and languages. I come from Poland where I used to work in education and hotel industry however 2 years ago I decided to move to London where I live and work as an E-commerce manager at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For couple of reasons:
1. I used to be a hotel manager in Poland and I know from experience that no matter how friendly and polite staff are - you will never really understand the country and its citizens until you spend some time with them.
2. My dad is a tourist guide so showing people around place I live and sharing my knowledge is in my blood ;) I really enjoy it and am glad if I can help.
3. I believe couchsurfing is a great way for many people to travel and visit other places without having to spend a fortune. Money people usually spend on hotels can be spent so much better during your holiday- like trips, concerts, extreme sports, interesting excursions etc. Just think how many more things can you experience in London if you don't have to pay for accommodation!

Interests

My mood and interests depend pretty much on the weather-when it's nice and warm I like to walk around London - especially along the river and in the parks. When it's raining and cold I like to play some computer games or simply watch a film and read a book.
On Friday nights I like to go to a local pub with table fusball karaoke, good vibe music and random conversations with friends and strangers 😁
I love trivia knowledge games, singing, dancing!
Please note: I can't cook and am not really a big fun of cuisine topics so I will not be able to serve you nice meals. But j can always show you a nice place to eat or order some food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my life. I love singing, playing intruments and generally listening to a good music, which for me means piano when working, good old classic hard rock when drinking, folk music and musical theater when feeling inspired.
Books: those related to foreign languages, history (recently Victorian era in England), fantasy.
I am also a big fan of radio dramas which I listen to on regular basis.

My father is a tourist guide in my region, so as I grew up listening to all information about my hometown and nearby towns, I'm ready now to share my knowledge about this place.
