ABOUT ME

Hello there, I'm Kasia and the guy on the left is John. We've quit our jobs to get on the road for a year, leave London behind and experience new places and cultures. We are heading from North America through Australasia to finish in South East Asia next year..We would love to meet some nice people who can share their travel experiences, local and international knowledge. We've couchsurfed a few times now and are finding the experience far more rewarding than budget accommodation by meeting locals and seeing the world and their home towns through their eyes.
Out of couchsurfing we enjoy a mixture of things, from diving to dim sum! We love being outside, hiking, climbing, skiing, just about everything that can be difficult in Greater London. We enjoy history and culture, art and photography. Love music, playing guitar and listening to all types and experiences new bands and styles.

PHILOSOPHY

Only live once etc, and treat others how you want to be treated. Material things don't last long but experiences stay with you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Is how the right word? We stay after being invited and when we're settled will be hosts one day. We don't want to just turn up, sleep and leave, we are not using couchsurfing solely for accommodation. We would like to get to know you and spend a balanced amount of time with you, but obviously not get in the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only very awesome experiences so far that have made us only want to meet more people in more places we go to. Have been very lucky, privileged and humbled to meet, stay with, and share some of the lifestyles of the people we've met so far, all of which we hope to see again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got Masters, moved to another country when young with not much in the pocket, travelled,feeling free seating by one of the many beautiful lakes in Canada, worked for the Olympics in Australia in 2000, diving and challenging personal fears, meeting amazing people,sky dive few times,Safari in Kenya and walking through Jerusalem, getting lost in Cyprus, dancing a night away in Barcelona and festivals in the UK, working on housing projects for poor in South Africa,desert safari in Qatar, camping in the Everglades and driving through Key West,horse ridding on the beach in Dahab.. so many things we had to come and do some more.
