ABOUT ME

I'm Polish, grew up in Poland and studied there. During my studies I took a 2-years break to go to Norway, where I stayed one year in Oslo working, and the other year I was in the north part of Norway attending a school. After that I came back to Poland for 2 years and moved out again - this time to Belgium, where I was saving up money for my big dream - going for a year to New Zealand!!! In March 2013 I came back to Poland from this wonderful adventure. And now I am getting used to living in Trondheim :)

In general I feel like I'm in constant movement, going from one place to another. Discovering new places, getting to know new people, and keep on thinking what I could next.

I'm an easy-going person, loving to hang around and meeting people. While sitting around the campfire, I'll rather be a listener then a talker :), unless I start talking about one of my interests or journeys ;).
So I'm not the most outgoing person, but not shy at all either. I'm just taking it easy :). The longer you know me, the better you know me I guess.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep yourself happy. If you don't like something, so change it or leave it. Having a good laugh every day doesn't hurt :).
Being outside, in the nature, keeps your mind on the right path I guess.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I only hang around with CSurfers coming to Trondheim. Due to very limited space in my flat I cannot host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several times together with my Belgian friend in Antwerp (Belgium).
We surfed together in Spain, Portugal and in New Zealand.
First CS-meeting was in Auckland.

Interests

Outdoors, outdoors, outdoors! If you want to keep me happy, just keep me outside ;).
I love to walk, bike, kayak, camp, swim, hike, fish...
I like forest, beaches, the sea, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, hills, wetlands, dunes,...
I LOVE winter (the cold, the air, cross-country skiing, going to sauna and rolling in the snow afterwards)

Except of outdoors I also like reading, good movies, drinking white wine and Belgian beer, and good company of course ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, love to go to these small cosy cinemas and attent movie-festivals.
One of my favourite things is the TV-serie 'Northern exposure', the best one I have ever seen :)
I love english humour, so 'Fawlty towers' and 'Black Adder' rule!

I'm addicted to reading and always try to have a book with me. I don't have any specific author I absolutely love, but I definitely enjoy books by Bill Bryson, Andrzej Stasiuk and Tiziano Terzani.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in the winter time in Norway! I absolutely loved it and miss it a lot.
Having a soak in super cold river at the bottom of Mt. Cook in New Zealand. I have managed to stay in the water for 7 sec and I'am proud of it!
