HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am thrilled about the idea of meeting strangers both at their home turf and my own. To be able to show a couch surfer around my town seems like the best way to spend life! Both helping someone get through their vacation in a more fun way and at the same time meet a new friend.

Interests

Im interested in almost any kind of sport. I actively practice golf, squash, tennis, skiing, football, cycling and general fitness. I am also very interested in music, and play the piano. Own two turntables for vinyl records which got me into the vinyl culture and now Im up around 200 records with a broad mix mix of jazz, classic rock, rap and house (especially deep house) which I mix with my setup for fun (I'm not a DJ though!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Matrix, for showing me the idea of "the life is a dream" for the first time. Star Wars, because I watched the original three 10+ times. American Psycho and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, because the monologue is just so well written and entertaining.
Music is a big thing, all from clasisc music, jazz, classic rock (60s-70s), bossa nova, deep house(!) and various others. Of artists those are mainly (in same order): Verdi, Bach, Chopin, Miles Davis, Erroll Garner, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Creedence Clearwater, Beatles, Ron Trent, Pepe Bradock...., The XX, Pink Floyd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parachuted 13,000 feet, Bungy Jumped 135 meters, river rafted, managed to visit the top of World Trade Center.
