My name is Kaspars and I'm 18 year of age student from Latvia, studying in Riga technical college.
My study programme is Programming, IT, the profession itself is called Programmer technician.
I love music, animals, programming and volunteering. In free time i like to walk around nature and just do something creative.

I have traveled around homeland - Latvia and the Baltic States. My goal at this moment is to explore and discover countries around Europe. To make this come true, I've applied and became ambassador of European Parliament Initiative called DiscoverEU. In which we earn Interrail train passes and have to explore European cultures and meet new people abroad.

This quote would explain my goals for life. It's always worth to try something new, trying new things may lead to great memories. If a person is stuck in same place all over and over again he doesn't make truly remarkable moments that, he/she would remember.

The new thing I am trying out now is couchsurfing and traveling around Europe by myself during this project/initiative I've explained and described above.

The reason why I'm couchsurfing would be to discover other cultures and meet new people. Socialize with locals and learn about the country itself. Who else would have more knowledge about a country than a person that lives there. Knowledge exists so it could be exchanged and supplemented.

Another great thing would be the chance to meet and know new people around the world and know a lot new about cultures, and any possible topics!!

The list itself is too big to unfold. I enjoy every music genre, book and movie. I tend to see most of them and rate efficiently. For me there are no favorites, they're all equally excellent and perfect.

I always find hearing new songs, reading new books and seeing new movies as amazing thing, there's always something to learn from all of them. Since they're all good ways to express someones personality and knowledge, and experiences.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Volunteered in a huge event that happens in Latvia - Called Song and Dance Festival.

The event is cultural and historical heritage that dates back to 1873 and happens every 5 years and the purpose of it is to gather Choirs, dance collectives, ensembles, Orchestras all around Latvia to sing or dance at same time and place.

I chose this thing from all, just because of the patriotic feeling in it. When you are one of 10's of thousands of people that participates in it, whether by singing, dancing or volunteering.
Volunteering is something I love in general, just for the gratitude of helping someone. One of best rewards one may have is experience, appreciation and a simple word "Thank you".
