A 21-year old student Economics from Hasselt, Belgium.
When I was younger I was really outgoing and active. I went on a couple of small exchanges in school; Wallonia and Russia (St. Petersburg). I worked for charities, served in an animal shelter, was a council member in the youth city council (yes, that exists), and the twelve years I was in a youth movement were the best times of my live. With studying and whatnot it kind of went away, but recently I felt that my intrests in going out and seeing things in the world came back again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To broaden my view on life. It sounds cliché, but that's what traveling is about in my opinion.
I haven't traveled much the last couple of years and couchsurfing seems like the ideal opportunity to visit places, meet new people and share stories and memories with one another.

Interests

I'm a big sports fan, football escpecially, season ticket holder of STVV. I'll use every excuse there is to go watch a game of soccer.
Games are my weakness, I could spend hours on end playing Football Manager (football again, I know ...) or grand strategy games and RPG's.

Also big into music. I like to think I have a very broad intrest in music, I'll listen to just about anything. From classical music and jazz to folk, rap and thrashmetal. You can find me at music festivals every year in Belgium; Pukkelpop, Rock Werchter, Reggae Geel, Rock Herk.

I like to go out with friends for a drink or go outside and do stuff; karting, going to the beach, playing football.

Comedy, I love watching comedy shows and browsing YouTube for clips of my favourite comedians. Any Bill Burr or Jimmy Carr fans around?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a 11 years old, my school was chosen to ask some questions to a cosmonaut while he was traveling in the ISS 400km above earth. I was one of the chosen pupils to ask a question to cosmonaut Yuri Shargin, pretty amazing experience.
