Overview
About Me
Student from Poland, enjoying life while trying to become academical teacher (French literature). I am pretty fluent and confident in English, German and French (I have German relatives and I have worked in Germany) and I am learning French at Jagielonski University so all French Native Speakers are especially welcomed
About languages that I am learning - kinda fluent in Spanish and Russian, I know some words and phrases in Czech Slovak and Swedish and I am an absolut beginner in Portuguese and Greek
About my interest:
I am a huge history, architecture, art, literature, philosophy and urbanism fan, I love so called “history of mentality” - history based on average humane life in specific era rather than war/monarchy/political history
I love exploring new cities, the well known but also places that are not really “touristy”
I am also a nature lover - especially mountains, my dream is to climb every highest mountain of every european nation, I enjoy cycling, kayaking and swimming as well
I am passionate about theology and different religions - especially Lutheranism, Islam and Judaism (I love learning about jewish diasporas from Algeria to Uzbekistan)
Football fan - Wisła Kraków and Olympique Marseille supporter
ALSO
I am a huge postcard fan and collector, I would be more than happy to receive a postcard (which you need to send as I collect postcards withs stamps and seals) from your country afer your stay at my place :)))
ALSO
I am extremely interested in small european languages (lets say less than 4 milion speakers) so if you speak for example: kashubian, sorbian, breton, sámi, yiddish, or any specific dialect of your language I would be delighted to learn it from you
In general I am very talkative, curious and open person, I am looking forward to meet you!! :))
