At 17 I lived a year with a host family in the united states, an experience that opened my eyes to the power of completely immersing oneself in a foreign country. I see Couchsurfing as an incredible opportunity to experience cultures around the world in the same way. Seeing the world through someone else's eyes is deeply fascinating to me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Ones I went on a snow cave trip with my friends in the Norwegian mountains. We arrived by skies to a wall of snow during the sunset. After digging for hours in the dark, we had made limited progress. Just 2-3 meters into the wall. It turned out the cold temperatures that weekended had turned most of the snow into ice. By midnight three of our four spades had broken into pieces. We had to create an emergency shelter by putting our skies and poles up to a branch on a tree, covering them with spruce branches to block the wind. We spent the night outside in a snowstorm.
