I'm an engineering student in my twenties from Denmark.
I started studying Robotics engineering in 2015, and since then, my interrest for computer science and technology has grown.
I grew up in an engineering family, and I've always found myself projects and such to tinkle with. I enjoy learning from others, especially hands on.
After highschool I spend 1.5 years in Australia. Till date, the best time of my life, and it sprouted my love for seeing new places and meeting new people.

I would desribe myself as a commiter, my life motto being:
"No risk, No reward"
- I believe we need to stand by our decisions, and not regret - of course this doesn't mean you should listen to advice ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I first moved out, I realized how much i enjoy meeting new people - especially if we share some interests.

Also, the best way to see a place, is to meet its people.

I like the idea that we help each other, across borders, rather than always looking for the next paycheck.

Interests

I must admit, I use a great deal of my spare time exploring robotics and computers science even more. I love fidling with arduinos and raspberry pies, making small projects.

To get away from the computer, I started playing beach volley (indoor/outdoor) spring 2019. Its awesome to feel the sand under your feet even though im kilometers from the nearest beach.

I've also taken up gardening, and taking care of my chili plants is both a breathing room and one of the highlights of my day. In the future, I would like to build an automated gardening system for the greenhouse.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly enjoy acoustic or garage rock.

Bands like Sticky Fingers, Dune Rats. I also really like classic old school rock like Dire Straits, AC/DC, Metallica and all the big ones.

Books wise, I enjoy thrillers - I like Dan Brown's style

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a bicycle from 1250km from Sydney to Melbourne Jan 2017, sleeping mostly in my hammock.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe the only true way to learn something is to use gained knowledge in a practical way, etc science experiments or building stuff, or meeting different cultures, rather than keeping it all in the books.
This is why I'm studying to become an engineer.
