ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going and open-minded guy who's pretty laid back and tries to take things in stride. I am drawn to adventure, am intrigued by foreign cultures and I love to travel and meet people with different nationalities.

PHILOSOPHY

The closest thing I have to a personal philosophy is a quote from Danish/American comedian and musician Victor Borge, who said that "The shortest distance between two people is a smile". Simple as it is, this somehow resonates with me, and I generally find it to be true even across the thickest linguistic and cultural barriers :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I am at home, I host people as often as possible whenever someone happens to come by my town looking to save on accommodation. So far I have really loved it! Recently I have been travelling myself and have loved to experience CouchSurfing from the other perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After meeting many people through travelling who had a lot of good experiences to share from couch surfing, I decided to give it a shot and get to know the system by hosting people. Since then I've hosted several different travellers from various countries and it's been an absolute blast! From September 2013 to September 2014 I travelled South East Asia, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, and experienced the 'surfing' part of CS for the first time. I loved it! :D
