Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

In 2016 I met a girl in Tbilisi who was couch surfing her way round Europe, and she raved about her experiences. Her last host had told her about Georgia, and convinced her to go, and off she went - so I thought it must be alright!
My friend and I had an absolutely great host in Hong Kong on NYE, who was so friendly and we had a really great evening hanging out and watching the fireworks thanks to him.

Keen to discover new places, and get recommendations off locals instead of just Lonely Planet guides.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Always changing, but my recent favourite book is "No Friend But The Mountains" by Behrouz Bouchani. For music there's too many to list! Some of my latest favourites are Orquestra Akokan, Fat Freddy's Drop, Somi (Nigerian American artist - please check her out!), Sandy Evans (Australian saxophonist and composer, does all sorts of culutral cross over music as well as jazz)...any recommendations I love to discover new music all the time.
