I'm a really young at heart lady that loves to meet new people and hear their stories. Sailing is a passion and I have my own sailboat in Vancouver. I have 2 little grandsons. I am a spiritual person, not religious.
I ran a med school program for a long time and retired early to sail around the world. That plan got put on hold but who knows, I might still go!
One of my favourite times was travelling with a 19 year old girl from Germany in Panama. We sailed from Cartegena Columbia to Portobello. She was travelling solo and so was I so we went to the canal together.
We had a lot of fun despite the age gap!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you have the opportunity to stay with someone living in the place you are visiting the experience is real, enriching for everyone and deepens your cultural understanding. It's all about the connection, the sharing of lives. I believe we are all travellers in the world on our own journeys and by sharing we grow.

I can help cook meals, go with you to shop or play with your kids, walk your dog. You can learn about my life and dreams and share yours. If you come to Canada I'll take you sailing on my boat or show you the best hiking spots around.
