Hey there! Born and raised in Northern Germany (sorry to disappoint if you were expecting Lederhosen and Dirndl but that’s the people from down south). I currently live in Chicago but will move back to Europe in fall of 2019. Until then I‘m planning to make good use of the little money I earn and see as much of this grand country as I can and get to know its people in the process

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to get to know a place is to get to know the people in it
To me couchsurfing is all about respect. Mutual respect as individuals, respect for someone‘s home, respect for someone‘s culture. It is fun to get to know new people, places and things and it challenges my introverted self, which I guess is a good thing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Competed in the largest online scavenger hunt in 2018 which resulted in driving halfway across the country to a so called unicorn cave (spoiler alert we didn’t find unicorns), painting with our noses, making ballgowns out of trash and gifting selfmade flower crowns to public transportation workers
