Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosted years ago when I still had a fancy apartment in New Orleans and had such a blast with the people I met. Now that I'm just a glorified, well-dressed hobo I'm looking to meet friends, learn things, and sleep on strange couches all over the world. The best times I've had in unfamiliar towns were with the friends I made on CS. Hotels are for squares!

Interests

Booze is my money, but books are my passion, and I plan to read every single book I haven't read yet. I also love the great outdoors! Backpacking/hiking/camping, biking, road tripping, beach lounging, and cafe racer riding. Looking to get more into climbing and kayaking this year!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last July my girlfriend Chay and I decided to stop dreaming about traveling and start doing it. So we bought two one-way tickets to Bangkok a year in advance, sold all our belongings, quit our bars, and hit the road! We travelled America for 7 months, living between our car, our trusty tent, and lovely stranger's homes. We just finished up and got enough money together to make it across the world and we're doing it all over again in Thailand. Help us out?
