ABOUT ME

Sometimes a bit chaotic and moody ;-), loving those little things that other people don’t even notice as they are always them that make my day, open to new experiences in all aspects of life, enjoying good food and drinks, laughing a lot and going out with friends a lot but also enjoying silence and sorting out emotions and ideas, enjoying good movies and books…and there’s much more…but especially I like people filled with positive energy (like couchsurfers:-)

PHILOSOPHY

I do believe in positive energy and that the way we are thinking gives shape to our lives.
I have also experienced and therefore believe in the sense of belonging or connection emotionally to a stranger that happens when you have only just met somebody, still you feel like knowing the person, kind of a 'soul buddy'. Such people can have a great effect on your life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Both, surf and host, explore new places and help others explore mine.
I cannot host at the moment as I'm currently in a transition period looking for a new country, place to live, job... Once I get settled somewhere, I'm definitely going to start hosting again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already met, hosted and been hosted by many couchsurfers. The people I've met thanks to CS are among the most incredible people I've ever met.

Intereses

Watching movies and reading books, yoga, playing piano (although currently I don't have one but hope to change it soon), meeting my friends and talking to people, learning foreign languages, travelling (how surprising;-) and let's not forget, hiking.
About travelling I love to soak up the atmosphere of the cities by merely wandering their streets without clear direction. I also love nature which makes me feel alive more than anything.

Música, películas y libros

Movies: Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, Into the Wild, Donnie Darko, The Intouchables, The Artist, the Harry Potter saga, the Star Wars saga, the Lord of the Rings saga, Sorrentino movies. I'm quite sentimental about films from my childhood (the ones you used to watch with your parents when you were exceptionally allowed to stay up late) like the Angelique saga, Sissi etc.
Music: World music, Classical music, French 'chansons', ZAZ, Goran Bregovic, Queen, DnB,
Books: The Little Prince, The Harry Potter saga, the Lord of the Rings saga, The Hobbit, On the Road, The Andtidote
I also like reading historical novels from different cultures reflecting the particular time period and how people lived in those days.

Sheep in Scotland....amazing...(seen, not done ;-)
Quitting my job and travelling for 7 months.
Trekking the Annapurna Circuit.
Spending 9 days in a yoga ashram.
Skydiving.
A hike on lava fields in Hawaii and seeing flowing lava (literally touching the fresh lava with the sole of my boots).
