Hi, I'm Katie, from Hungary, currently living in London, working as an Art teacher. With all the ups and downs of it, I enjoy my job, feeling lucky to have it. I'm also a photographer and I paint sometimes. Nowadays teaching takes the most part of my life, I've been working as a cover teacher and as an Art teacher in London. Supply means to go to different schools every day, which I honestly enjoyed, I got a chance to cover any subject and to see many interesting places and kids...
I enjoy discovering London and getting to know new people. I like good food, of course, who doesn't... I like to see an exhibition, listen to live music, find a way to feel like I'm connected to nature after all this time in London, and watching movies, yes, mostly at home, I need to chill after all those kids... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing in 2011 when I first left my home to live abroad... The plan changed, we managed to find a lovely place to live in Scotland, and I never actually really used it. A lot has happened since... Currently, I'm not accepting guests, that might change.

I'm learning to play ukulele. I'll compose a new song for you, like XY is the Best Couchsurfing Host or something like that :) (Don't worry, I won't be disturbing you with practicing or whatever...)

I think it's hard to top Björk, but I like many kinds of music. I enjoy reading biographies, hm, movies, hard to answer, Amélie maybe... That doesn't mean I wouldn't watch an action movie... My dear Father is an engineer, I enjoy to watch a documentary about how a bridge is constructed or the life of Bill Gates and things like that too...
