Hello people!
My name is Aleksandra and I'm 23 Polish.
I was born and raised in Krosno, a small city close to Ukrainian and Slovakian borders. About 2 years ago I started University in Poland but I didn't like it and I quit after 6 months. English philology is pretty boring!
After that I moved out to Nottingham, it's where I met my boyfriend, his name's James :) I have a good job but it's not something what gives me happiness so I'm gonna quit and say hello to Adventure! I'm pretty sure that's the right way!

Just to make it easier to know what kind of person am I, I will write down some random facts about me:
1. I'm into handmade, I paint on the t-shirts and design jewelry. Check out my fb fanpage if you want to see some of my works: katanabanana DIY. (haven't been posting anything for a while now!)
2. I love to cook and bake, there's no way you will be hungry with me ! I also love to try new dishes! Open for everything cause if you won't try you wont know was it worth or not, ha!
3. I love vintage clothes! I've heard it many times I look like granny's courtain cause of floral patterns all over me. I have like 20 diffrent floral dresses, crazy!
4. All of my friends know that I'm a crazy cat lady.. Just can't help it. The touch of cats fur is way too pleasant. Hands up if you agree!
5. If you ever spot someone in gold Dr Martens shoes, carrying like 10 bags and rushing to get somewhere... Well, thats me! I'm always late. I hate to rush... when I have to do it, I do it slowly :D
6. I've heard that we all have an identical person. Well I do have one and I met her same day when I was born. I have a twin sister, ha!
7. I love smell of grass, sun and fresh air. Summer is my favourite season.
8. I listen a lot of music, actually in every spare minute of my life :D Music makes everything better! I like elecronic music the most; minimal, triphop, downtempo, ambient, dreampop and synthpop.
9. I take lots of pictures, I used to carry my camera with me everywhere! Now camera got replaced with my phone :D I have over 1600 pictures on my phone!
10. I've never ever seen any sea or ocean... From plane doesn't count. I think I'm gonna cry when I see it wooho! Gonna happend pretty soon!
11. I write letters and send postcards all over the wolrd. Letters are great!
12. I'm a Mardy Bum.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Together with my boyfriend we decided to quit our jobs and just go travelling for 6 months, we're gona do it on a motorbike ! The whole idea of our adventure is to see all the best bits in Europe, like hidden places, known only to local people.
We're gonna sleep in a tent, hostels and lovely people we are aiming to find here :)

We have our ferry tickets for 16th of May 2015, we're gonna start our journey in Sheffield, then go to Portsmouth and take a ferry from there to Bilbao in Spain :)
