ABOUT ME

We have been friends for about 20 years...yes, just firneds, we aer not a couple! we grew up around the corner from eachother and have played soccer and softball together since we were very young. Over the years we have become really great friends and in the past few years discovered we are really good traveling companions...which as im sure you all know cant be said of everyone...
Katrina teaches high-school english and coaches the soccer and softball team. Ana works in sports television with several companies. we love trying new things and feel that being a part of really unique experiences like couch surfing makes life more enjoyable!

PHILOSOPHY

Katrina: I want to make a difference! That is why I am a teacher...as long as I can reach one person, I know that I have made a differneve in the world!

Ana: Changing the world is hard! Changing the world for one person is entirely possible!

yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery, and today is a gift, that's why they call it the present. so just live life and be happy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to host or help out in anyway we can when we return from our travels. We will be home in September.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two years ago we couchsurfed with a friend Tiffany under her profile. We stayed with people in Austria, Spain, France, and Italy. Thanks to everyone who hosted us and who will host us in the future!

Interests

We play soccer together 2 or 3 days a week. We like riding bikes at the beach on weekends and hanging out with friends, meeting new people and traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Katrina: Randomly finding each other in Spain in 2007 at the same hostel purely by accident! I will never forget walking in at midnight hoping to have a place to stay at this random hostel and as my friend and I walked in, we ran into Ana and her friend that worked at the hostel! It was such a breath of fresh air to run into her since we got to stay for free and did not have to stress out about finding her the next morning.

Parasailing in Crete, Greece was pretty amazing, as well as paragliding and canyoning in Iterlaken, Switzerland!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, Katrina is an English teacher and Ana taught English in Spain once even though she hated it! :)

We love learning about new cultures, especially about their sporting events and food. After visiting Greece it is one of my fav's now (Katrina)!
