Overview
About Me
My name is Kasia Cuper and I’m from Poland. I’ve just finished high-school. I'm also this year’s graduate of national music school first and second level. (I play the trans flute, piano, and guitar.) I’ m a member of Piotrkowska chamber orchestra. I am singing in church and school choirs. I train athletics in KS "Polanik" and horse riding in KS “Happy Horse”. I am also a scout leader 14 Piotrkowskiej Scout Team.
I love meeting new people. I am open to all new ideas and initiatives (within reason of course). It is not worth sticking labels to people at once in advance. Maybe, when you give them a chance, and even light support they will overcome shyness and their wonderful nature will appear in full. That's why I try to help them as much as I can.
I am a person who tries to enjoy the whole world around us and draw the most of it. I am guided by the slogan "Carpe Diem" because I think that today there is no time to stop and feel sorry for one's fate. The world is moving forward all the time, so then we are staying far behind it. And yet there are so many amazing things and wonderful experiences waiting for us. Remaining in a state of apathy, we may not notice so many other opportunities that, after all, still provide us with life. Stuck in sadness we become blind because it is very difficult to see reasons to smile and joy, and yet there are so many, like an ordinary ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, just look around and reach for them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the major factors definitely attracting me to participate in the project are people. It is known, that we learn the most through interaction with peers. Similar passions and interests connect people, create a specific environment so different from that encountered every day. It is the exchange of experiences and insights that leads us to the most creative conclusions. Knowing young, open people from all over the world constitute a value in itself. It will be an ideal occasion to connect contacts precious in the future.
Couchsurfing connect people from distant geographical regions, making us meet suddenly with a whole range of different cultures and customs characteristic of given countries, which apart from developing practical knowledge of English, so useful in adult life, opens us to the world and teaches tolerance.
I believe that the knowledge and experience acquired at this project would undoubtedly pay off in the future, giving me a chance for a dream life.
