ABOUT ME

I'm 26 years old medical doctor living in Cracow. I came from a small, but really beautiful city in Mazovia - Siedlce :) More? I'm always in a hurry, always trying to find something interesting to do in a free time :)
I love sightseeing, long hikes, learning new stuff. I'm always reading something (not only the medical boring stuff haha!).

Currently as a young doctor I'm trying to reconcile my work which is helping people with my passion - travelling and getting to know new cultures!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first heard about CS I was a little bit afraid but also curious. I decided to try it for the first time when my fiancé and I were going to Belgium and it turned out to be such a lifechanging experience! Ever since then I'm trying to use CS as much as possible both by hosting and being hosted. I love how it enables people to connect through borders, cultures and languages, allows to see world from different perspectives as well as get rid of sterotypes and prejudice.

From the very beginning I've decided to be a part of this amazing undertaking!

And what else? Because of my occupation it is hard for me to travel as often as I'd like to, so when I do I'd really want to make the most of it - away from the beaten track, tourist traps and cheesy all-inclusive hotels.

Aww, it's a very difficult question! I'm searching for some new stuff all the time! Currently I am into painting and small live music concerts with my friends :) I love board games. There was a time when photography (or swimming or theatre :p) was my life, but...I decided to look for something else^^ I was a member of Med Students Theatre "Cyrulik" (which is an archaic name for a surgeon :p ) In some way I'm a restless soul :)

Another hard question! Music: mostly folk rock like Mumford & Sons or Beirut. I'm a big fan of Radiohead and The National. Recently I'm getting to know some electronic music. Each one of my favourites songs are suitable for mood. For example, Beirut - Sunday Smile. Listen to it, don't you feel better now?!

- 3-weeks long hitchhiking trip to the Balkan Peninsula
