I just like to travel, I graduated from high school and decided I'd come live in Australia for a year. I used to coach gymnastics, I love reading, and jamming out to musicals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister is coming to visit me in June and we want to travel around Australia. I've been turned on to Couch Surfing from some of my friends and figured I'd give it a try!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genre of music is rap. My favorite artist is Atmosphere (an underground group from Minnesota, USA). However, I love basically all genres of music. Along with rap, I love musicals so you already know I'm a big fan of In the Heights, and Hamilton. My favorite movie is probably the Nightmare Before Christmas. I have quite a few favorite books, I love the Harry Potter series. Three of my favorites are the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, and A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to think that one amazing thing I've done is pack my stuff into two suitcases and move across the world right after graduating high school, to a country where I knew no one and made a life for myself here. I've made lots of friends, and learned more about myself than I ever knew I could.

Teach, Learn, Share

Live in a country you weren't born in at least once in your life. A vacation isn't the same. Actually living there, immersing yourself in the culture, is something completely on its own. Its really just an eye opening experience that everyone should have at least once.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of laughs, good stories, and jam sessions. I can also teach you how to do random things like juggling/headstands.
