Overview
About Me
Recently left my job in wine publishing to pursue a career in winemaking. I'm traveling the globe writing stories about industry trends and the people behind terrior-driven wines. Check out my blog "Behind the Scores" on the Wine & Spirits Magazine website.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's cheaper then getting an Air B n B for one! And I'm open to meeting new people, but I'll mostly be out tasting vino.
Interests
Cycling, ballet, yoga and trapeze. Thinking about the culture and place within my wine glass. I love to read and write beach side. I try and run most mornings and enjoy the sunrise. I recently learned how to sail - one step closer to sailing around the world! Woop!

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently got into Goat Rodeo Session so now I'm over the moon about progressive folk. Chopain is a classic go-to, but I love music from Tribe, Diggable Planets to 90s Throwback station on Spoitfy. Yes, I do listen to "yonce" as well despite my inital hesitation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit a cushy publishing life for a more meaningful life of creation. My mother is still scratching her head. I'm heading to Argentina in the spring to work another wine harvest - I think that's going to be quiet an adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
Obviously I'm happy to share wine! NO one likes to "research" alone.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I wouldn't lie and say I'm a morning person. I function best caffeinated. But once I've had my morning cup, I'm easy going, not going to trash or steal anything. I'm just looking looking for a quaint place to rest my head at night and maybe make a new friend.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Honduras, Malaysia, Spain, United Kingdom
