Hiya! I'm Kate, currently doing some travelling before looking to settle in Berlin in January 2026.

I have just finished a 3 week cycling trip around Tuscany with my best friend Tess. We did 600km, all by leg power!

I’m originally from Brisbane, Australia and adore the warm weather lifestyle.

I'm an avid traveller, cyclist, gardener, cook and foodie and there's nothing I love more than checking out local spots with fabulous people! I'm really into quality conversations over a bottle of wine and a good meal. I love to soak up the culture of the city I'm in and thoroughly enjoy sitting in the sun and people watching.

To see the world a little differently and meet wonderful folks I wouldn't otherwise come across! I've had my Couchsurfing account for ages but I've not yet had an opportunity to use it. I'm doing some travelling over the next couple months and it feels like a great time to try it out!
