My name is Kateryna. I'm from Kyiv, Ukraine.
That's my first-time Couchsurfing! And it seems pretty fun so far:)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am fond of travelling! But not in the ''touristic'' way. I like exploring the city/country by interacting with locals, visiting wonderful places that are not that popular among tourists and to let the "feeling" lead while walking (and by that I mean the next situation. Imagine you're walking down the unfamiliar street in the unknown city and just turning where you want at a particular moment. Just because you want to turn at that street and because that sounds more fun than following the google maps!)
So I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm open to a new acquaintance and willing to know more about the countries I'm visiting: what are they like? what is the everyday life of people like? what interesting I can learn there?
In return, I'm ready to share! I can tell you more about Ukraine and Kyiv in particular (spoiler: it's the best place on Earth to visit and I can tell you why!)
Basically, that's what Couchsurfing is about for me - cultural exchange while travelling :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

With friends, we made an action in Paris to support Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia. Some of them are back home. So I'm proud of myself that I contributed to their return!
