Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I missed my bus and got stranded in Cardiff. A friend had already recommended that I try couchsurfing, so after a fab experience here I am (still). When I have a couch of my own, I will definitely be hosting too. The couchsurfer experience has thrown into light how valuable it is to meet new people (and help them out).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love prog metal, classical, jazz, and a bunch of oddball other bands. I'm badly out of touch with the latest movies, shows and music (honestly, your granny will have more of a clue than me!)... generally films from the 70s are beautifully shot and I used to love the Hammer Horrors, Spaghetti Westerns, nerdy Sci-Fi and various thrillers. It'd be quicker to just say I'll watch most things but am not really into rom-coms. Favorite books include The Hitchhikers Guide, LOTR, The Northern Lights Trilogy, although I mostly read on-fiction now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not sure... House cleaning, dog walking, friendship, errands, requests, icecream and cooking. If you have art materials I might be able to mentor you on your technique too.
