Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoyed travelling in hostels. But you only meet other backpackers. I would like to meet actual people from the countries I'm in.

Interests

I have grown up near the mountains, so hiking and skiing was inevitable. But I feel like, I've only seen the same mountain range all my life. I'd love to see more.
Also, I'm always open to getting to know new things. Why travel, if you're not willing to learn?

Where to start?
So far, I haven't encountered a genre with at least one good story or idea. I love fantasy and sci-fi, but if a story is written very well, I'm willing to try it out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing to me or impressive to others?
I've seen the Northern Lights in Lappland, that was pretty cool.
But I've also lived with an old hunter for two weeks once. He was mostly off-the-grid and the time he thought me hunting, fishing, gardening and everything else that needed doing, was some of the best in my life.
