I'm just in the process of letting it go. I want to live outside as much as possible. I support myself through making things and working with my hands, sometimes I have a craft booth at festivals and markets. I am admittedly long winded, but I think I'm good at listening as well. I love the feeling of being alone in a crowded place. I laugh real real big and often. I'm hard of hearing so I'm kind of loud, and I also I love silence. I dance different from anyone and I love dancing so much. I'm a magpie and my pockets are always full of "stuff". I haven't had a bed in a long time, but someday I'll build my own house. I like helping, and community is incredibly important to me. I can do magic, but so can you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like traveling. I think it's massively important. I'm time rich and cash poor, and I love meeting new people. Plus, what better way is there to learn about new cities than through asking the people who live there?

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the blues, I love banjo, I love drums and a I love a good rhythm. I like music that doesn't have lyrics and also music that does. I generally prefer music that isn't over produced, but not always. I love the electric organ and harmonica, I love The Dead and The Kinks and the soundtrack to Hello, Dolly! and gypsy music from all around the world and various types of electronic music and I love tropicália and surf rock and bluegrass and when I say I like all kinds of music I mean I like 70's psychedelic jazz African drum music. I do not care for a lot of music as well. I like music that has tap dancing in it.

I don't watch a lot of movies really but I'm a Star Wars purist and I have some directors I really admire. MST3K 4-Eva 4-lyfe.

I go through phases with reading, and I shouldn't, I should always read, because I love it. Big Harry Potter fan over here. The Hobbit and Phantom Tollbooth and The Tao de Ching and my top three most favorite of all time. I like to have a few spirituality and psychology books going at a time, and I'm really really into any type of "how-to" books. I'd much rather wind down at the end of the day looking at stained glass making and garden planning books than watching tv.

The space immediately around me is fairly pleasant, I believe. My faithful dog Penny may or may not be with me. I will surely share something I've got, whether it's homemade jam or a pretty stone I picked up. I also make jewelry all the time. I sincerely love helping.
