ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old student who loves meeting, connecting and chatting to new people from all over the globe. I have an insatiable passion for travel, and just recently returned from studying in Istanbul. I've also traveled around Iran, Europe, Central America and Japan. I am generally pretty happy (provided the cupboard is well stocked with sugar) and I love having people around and making them feel as welcome as I have been made in my travels :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe people are incredible beings and we rarely appreciate our own and others kindness. I think if you strip back context, prejudices and mistreatment we would find people aren't as self-interested as we believe. I think you can control very little in this life and so if you get the chance to do something positive for yourself, other people, or the world you should grab it, no matter how small it is. Because you can't change the whole world, but you can make a difference to your own (awwwwwwww). I also think this is a really beautiful quote by JFK or probably, a beautiful quote by JFK's speech writer: "Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment living in Woonona, a small suburb north of Wollongong. If you're coming to Sydney you're more than welcome to sleep on our fairly comfortable mattress, and share with us all your travel stories!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

"I have 'couch-surfed' through Morocco, turkey and Iran and loved all my experiences. We've had a lot of couch surfers stay at our place in Sydney and absolutely loved all of them. They've all brought beautiful stories, smiles and spirits to our humble abode and each of them has changed our lives in little ways :)
I've also done a bit of non-official couch surfing with people I met in my travels in Ireland, the UK, Spain and Holland.

Haha, I also like going out, when the opportunity and bank account allows for it! But I also enjoy relaxing at home, cooking, chatting endlessly with my housemates and curling up with a good documentary :)
