I'm interested in seeing as much of the world as possible while living like a local and learning about local customs, traditions, and daily life. I'd also like to meet new friends around the world! I am a house-sitter/pet-sitter in addition to my "regular" job.

I'm fairly quiet but very friendly. I am introverted, but I love learning about people and having good conversations. I'm a vegetarian and animal-lover, although I have no issue with people who eat meat (to each their own!). I am interested in folklore and storytelling, music, history, and the arts.

I've couch-surfed with a few friends and friends of friends over the years and it's always been a pleasant experience. I like meeting new people while traveling, especially since I typically travel solo. I embarked on my second overseas solo trip in Oct. 2018, starting out in the UK. In addition to the UK, on this trip I have/will be visiting Ireland, Czech Republic, Spain, Morocco, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Hungary. Turkey, Italy, Greece, India, Thailand, Peru, Portugal, Israel, Iran, Albania, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and New Zealand are just a few of the other places I'd like to visit one day!
One of the primary reasons I became a freelancer is that it affords me the freedom to work from anywhere, so I am planning to make my nomad life semi-permanent, although I may set up a home base somewhere for a while in 2020, maybe in Czech Republic.
