My name is Kate and I live in Hobart, Tasmania. I am married to a wonderful man and we have two grown up sons. Having lived in NSW (Australia) all our lives, my husband and I moved to Tasmania in 2020.

My plan was to do some traveling once the boys had left home, but the COVID19 pandemic put a stop to those plans.

Living in Tasmania has been a dream come true. The community here is so strong and I have met some amazing people here. I am involved in lots of community groups as I am the sort of person who loves to spend time with other people.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

When we lived in the Blue Mountains in NSW we hosted several people through Couch Surfing and I really enjoyed meeting new people from all around the world.

This year I am heading off to Europe. I would love to meet local people and stay in the homes of fellow Couch Surfers while I am away.

I do Scottish Country Dancing and various other folk dancing, I sing in two local choirs, I play the guitar, the recorder and the piano and I love to walk in the bush. I also enjoy reading, playing board games, watching movies and playing cards (Canasta anyone?)

I found my husband's father on Facebook and reunited them after 43 years apart.
