My friends would probably describe me as a pretty big goof ball, or, more likely a slightly clumsy, LITTLE goof ball ....I'm juuust 5'!
I am sometimes quiet, very considerate, yet full of spunk n energy when the time is right. A very kind gal that loves all people, shootin' the shit, and having ridiculous types of fun.
I'm up for nearly anything -especially the atypical and absurd- you name it!
[Note: I might need a nap first, 20 mins its all I need]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Go places, see things, meet people!
Host people who feel similarly and need a place to crash.
o "Shootin' the Shit:" I love to go deep into life experiences and understanding human perceptions. I love having a good conversation about each others realizations, revelations and understandings. :)
o Urban exploring: I love buildings, their architecture inside and out and especially on top. Climbing buildings and trees are certainly some things I love to do.
o Swimming, canoeing and any other non-motorized water sport: all preferable activities that steal my time over the summer months.
o Sledding, slip n sliding, and irish coffees definitely take my leisure winter time.
o Biking: I love to bike during any month of the year! it is my primary mode of transportation on a day-to-day basis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving with new friends - baby seals! Who knew seals were like underwater puppies? My friends and I finally caught on to their bite-and-hide ways and began a game of underwater hide-and-seek in the kelp beds of the coooold Pacific Ocean off Vancouver island!
And... awhile back, I climbed to the top of a graffitied bell tower in Paris. As I looked over a city that had always intrigued me while growing up in French Immersion classes, I cried with joy. That view, and the adrenaline rush of being so high up was incredible!! Also, it felt sooo good because, I did it all by myself, from the money for the plane ticket to the arduous climb to the top. It was one of those moments where you FEEL ON TOP OF THE WORLD because you succeeded! I must love climbing because, a similar event happened on a volcano in Panama.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always open to learn anything! I get excited to learn something new no matter what it is!
What I Can Share with Hosts
+ Natural / Sustainable building techniques: straw bale walls, passive design, earthen plasters and floors, hempcrete, tadelakt, solar/PV installation... you name it! I'd love to share what I've recently learned.
+ Mycology knowledge: I love fungi! I know how to grow them and would love more experience identifying them
+ "Common denominator" cooking and baking :) celiac safe, low-to-no sugar, veggie, vegan, paleo, whatever, whoever -- I love feeding Everyone and doing it well on a budget!
