ABOUT ME

I am always in to discover new things, meet new people, I want to see the world!
My friends describe me as a warm-hearted and ambitious girl who loves people with a good sense of humour.

I like sports! (I go running and swimming 3 times a week, did a surf camp) Among other interests there's going to the theatre, museums, going out with friends, buying/making other people gifts!

While studying Russian and English at University College, I got more and more fascinated by the Russian language, the culture and the people. I have studied in Minsk, Belarus, for 3 months, which was a great experience. I must confess it has become a real passion to me. I read Russian novels, I read about the country, I weekly watched the Russian news, listened to the radio, met with my Russian-speaking friends,...
However, since I got a job that has nothing to do with Russia or the language, this 'passion' has more evolved into a big interest.

Next to that I'm quite into arts. Was in art school for 12 years (only as a hobby though) when I was younger. So if you want to see an exposition or a museum, I'm your girl!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some couchsurfers at my place, but those were always people that I got to know while travelling around. In November 2011 I had my first couchsurfing experience in Maastricht, NL. It was awesome!

Interests

This could be a way to get in touch with other people whose cultures, stories and maybe friendships will contribute to my hunger for knowledge, new experiences... I think it's just so much fun!
