I'm a new-ish Couchsurfer but am about to be doing a bunch of traveling and thought it'd be a good time to sign up! Traveling through Europe in August for a mix of reporting trip and vacation and looking to meet folks to lend me some couch and maybe hang out and show me around a bit or point me in the right directions.

A little more: I'm a reporter covering the US elections, climate politics and social movements for a progressive publication based out of Chicago. I also like dogs and drinking within reason and going to protests sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new folks in places I have and haven't been! And maybe make it a little easier for folks to travel without spending down their savings, especially in New York. I had a profile active a little over a year when I was doing some traveling through the US for work, but am taking my first vacation in like 3 years (!!) so wanted to get back into it.
