ABOUT ME

I fell into playing music but like writing most of all. Because I'm better at it.I'm also a very talented drinker. Preferably spirits and with cigarettes as an optional extra. I am a very chaotic driver. A loyal friend. A would be academic apart from the fact that academics get on my nerves. Especially the ones that burble on about postmodernism.

PHILOSOPHY

Maybe closer to Zen if you want to get deep about it. I prefer things to be hidden, not necessarily mystical, but something that makes me think. Why should anything be easy to work out anyhow?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had friends over to stay mostly to do with music who have tend to drink me under the couch. That's musicians for you. One slightly worrying traveller locked himself in the bathroom all evening and scared my cat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing a gig in Brussels and getting a dressing room that was larger than most of the venues we'd played. Marshall Allen was sat in the corner practising on his saxophone and rambling on at anyone who'd listen.

Have some skills in keyboard/violin/drums. Can draw/paint. Drive. Indian Head massage. Some shiatsu. Erm, depends on what the situation demands?
