ABOUT ME

I'm passionate about changing the world. I'm also passionate about talking to people about that as people- not as opponents.

As a part-time organizer for a nonprofit, I help college students run campaigns to get their universities to commit to shifting their food purchasing to sustainable and just food. Across the country, that's about a $1 billion dollar shift.

I also work part time in an Entomology lab helping with research. Mostly I wanted to have lab experience, but it's been interesting regardless to work with researchers and learn firsthand about the scientific process.

At this point in my life, I don't know what I'm doing. Really. I'm very open to hearing others' perspectives and the journeys they've taken so far. I know I'm drawn to structure, but I think it would be incredibly useful for me to be okay to not have that, at least for a little bit.

I've surfed a couple times and hosted a couple times. All have been good or, more often, really great experiences. I'm so glad something like this exists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When my rowing team's boat passed the finish line first in the Southeastern Regional Championship regatta, my body was overtaken with relief and shock. My teammates and I looked at each other in awe, incredulous that our months of early mornings and grueling practices that put us in sync had been so incredibly worth it.
