Meeting people in my home life and travels with my 5 year old very social and sweet daughter.

ABOUT ME

I do a bit of almost everything, mainly at the moment I am working half time in paediatric medicine which I'm loving. Also I pursue the performing arts : theatre, illustration, design, music (I sing and play guitar and keys), performing, directing, writing, creating.. I love it all. I have made several films and animations. I travel. I love to be with friends. I love eating. I love being outside, camping, walking, cycling, picking flowers, dancing, looking at stars, walking on beaches, watching storms, meeting new people. My daughter also loves the outdoors and is very happy amongst the trees, leaves and flowers. She loves to collect sticks, rocks and leaves.

Hago de todo un poco! En este momento hago mucho de ser madre de mi guagua (tiene 15 meses) , el teatro (tengo un espectaculo de títeres), la musica (toco la guitarra y canto y toco los tocadores) y hago pelîculas y animaciones. Aun no trabajo como doctora, me prefiere ser madre. Viajo. Me encanta ser con mis amigos, comer, estar afuera, hacer du camping, caminar, bailar, mirar las estrellas, mirando a las tormentas, conocer a nuevas personas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brilliant! Such a great way to make new friends in these days of social networking. Also I love the events that are advertised. I love it!!! I have hosted in my home in Alice Springs and also stayed with people in Australia and overseas.
Me encanto!! Conocer mas gente de diferentes países con sus diferentes idiomas y costumbres y experiencias.. eso me hace feliz!

兴趣

I love to learn new things all the time. I like to challenge myself so that I dont get stuck. I love performing arts, film, music, cirucs, theatre, dance. I love learning languages. I love to use my body actively. I have the privelage to know and love good food.
Right now I"m developing two children's puppet shows and I also have a puppet show that is more for adults but kids seem to enjoy it too. I want to in the future take these shows on tour.
I also just began "disability studies" which I'm currently taking online through Flinders University in South Australia. I want to learn more about the field and how I can work as a therapist and incorporate lots of arts and movement. I'm really loving this study and it is opening up my mind a great deal about equality, inclusion and many other things. The perspective from which is it taught is really refreshing after medicine. I do not feel at home working within the medical model, although it has its place, it has a long way to go.

Been reading lots of teen fiction lately and spending less time reading things on my computer (except when I'm studying). Love "Saving Francesca" by Melina Marchetti.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Whilst making a film about young indigneous people being shown dreaming stories that are part of a very large story that spreads geographically right across the western half of Australia, I got to learn so much. We were very far out in the desert too. It was amazing to be able to see this.
Played in a band with three other women.
Performed as an elderly woman in a mask/puppet show.

We can share a meal, visit a local cafe, park or go on a walk somewhere. If you have kids we have a lovely set up with a craft/play room for all ages. We are always happy to go on kid friendly adventures or have fun at home. We can recommend many of the great family friendly things that you can do in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
