HI! My name is Katelynn Kay and I am from Seattle Washington but I currently live in South Carolina! I am 23 years old, have 2 dogs and a wonderful son, Max. I have travelled to a ton of different places including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Mexico, and Canada. I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would choose; outgoing, confident, and free-spirited. Being from Seattle, I grew up in a melting pot of different cultures which is what I believe sparked my love of travelling and my interest in cultural diversity. I am new to this Couchsurfing thing and would love to use it to bridge the cultural gap! I am open-minded and light-hearted and am always down to have a good time! :)

At first I was hesitant about putting myself out there on this type of platform, but after listening to stories about how amazing it is I thought I would give it a try! My favorite music is anything 70's. Fleetwood Mac has been influential in my life! I usually don't listen to the new age music however, Sam Smith is one of my favorite singers! Movies that I'm into would be anything comedy or scary! The majority of books I read pertain to being a traveling mom of a 1 year old, because its not always easy!

One amazing thing that I have done in my life (aside from having a wonderful baby boy) would be spending 6 months doing Air Traffic Control in the beautiful country of the United Arab Emirates!

I always have aspirations to learn anything that I can about almost any topic! I think that every person can influence your life in some way (big or small) and you never know what knowledge can be gained from just a small conversation!
