Hello! My name is Katelyn, and I'm a 29 year-old living in central Minnesota. I love travelling, and my dream is to travel the world and see every country - so far I've been to Canada, England and Iceland. I want to see the tourist attractions, of course, but I also want to learn how people live their day-to-day lives in other countries. I want to meet lots of interesting people, especially other travelers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy traveling and have made it a priority in my life. I love that couchsurfing allows me to meet new people and learn more about a place while also saving money while traveling.

My favorite book is Paper Towns by John Green (who is also my favorite author). I enjoy historical fiction, fantasy, and generally any fiction book.
My favorite movies are Perks of Being a Wallflower, Breakfast Club, Barefoot in the Park, and While You Were Sleeping.
Favorite musicals are Spring Awakening and Les Miserables
Favorite plays are Hedda Gabler, Long Day's Journey Into Night, and plays by Beckett or Ionesco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, 2 of my friends and I decided to drive from central MN to Glacier National Park in Montana (about a 15 hr drive), spend 4 hours in the park, then drove all the way back to MN because we only had the weekend available before having to go back to school. It was crazy and surreal, and by far, one of the best decisions I've made in my life.
