Relationships are really important to me. I cherish interactions with friends and strangers. They have so much to teach us.

Outside my head and heart, I love to explore, and dance, and sing, and make merry. Life is to celebrate!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed and hosted - it's been great. Casey's project has really attracted sincere and generous people. I'm hoping to get more involved in the local CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been involved with CS on and off for several years. Hosted and surfed a bunch. Most recently, I stayed with some really excellent hosts in Spain and Greece. Several years ago, I stayed with three awesome Portuguese hosts. I've had people stay with me from Germany, Greece, Sweden. I don't know what I prefer more since it's been such a great experience to stay with others and also to host.

Intereses

Art: I like to think/talk about artistic theories, go to museums and local galleries. I especially enjoy urban/experimental work. Music: my tastes are all over the place and I'm working on some self-education, hopefully to include creating sound at some point. Movies: I like weird movies, documentaries, historical dramas. Not too big into blockbusters, I tend to get insulted by pandering.
Physical: dancing, running, yoga, swimming, hiking, camping, rockclimbing, surfing, snowboarding. I've recently discovered a passion for farming, homesteading, foraging and have gotten deeper into cooking. Other: finding value in detritus, learning about people and their cultures, exploring exotic food.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Sank into a natural hot spring pool on a clear Christmas night after riding a scooter all day through the mountains of Northwestern Thailand (hungover). More recently, a forest walk greeted by a sitting white cat and ended with a black bird's flight.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I have a lot to learn, would love to know more about anything from a passionate teacher. I'm hoping to improve my language skills (Spanish and French) in the near-term. I'd love to share cooking tips and recipes. I can show you how to close a bag of chips airtight (it's a family secret).
